Gender Equality Index is a project designed using Basiljs, a Javascript–based library that allows you to use code to design in InDesign. An existing dataset from an annual statistics project provided by the European Institute to measure gender equality in EU countries was used for the result. Through a process of visual experimentation, these data have been displayed using different visual elements, outside the usual graphs and tables but with lines, geometric shapes, typography and colours.
